Terms of Service
Effective 2 September 2026. By using PawPawMood you agree to these terms.
PawPawMood is a tool for curiosity and fun. It reads posture cues from a picture and tells you what it saw. It is not a veterinarian, it cannot diagnose anything, and it can be wrong. If your pet seems unwell, see a vet.
The service
You upload a photo or short video of a cat or dog and receive a mood score, an emotion breakdown and the body-language cues behind it. Readings are generated automatically by an AI model and are estimates, not facts. Never delay or replace veterinary care because of a reading.
Accounts
You can use the site as a guest or sign in with an email address or a Google account. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, give us accurate information, and do not create accounts to get around the free-tier limits. You must be at least 13 to have an account.
Free tier and PawPawMood Pro
- 🆓 The free tier gives you a set number of readings each month; the current allowance is shown on the pricing page and may change.
- ✨ PawPawMood Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription billed by Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe. It renews automatically until you cancel.
- 🔁 Cancel any time from the billing portal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund partial periods unless the law where you live requires it.
- 💰 If a price changes, we tell you before it applies to your next renewal.
Your content
Your photos, videos and posts stay yours. You give us the permission needed to process them in order to provide the service — sending an upload to the AI provider, saving a reading to your journal, or showing a PawMap post to other users. Only upload content you have the right to share, and nothing unlawful, hateful or harmful. PawMap posts are public, including the location you attach, and we may remove posts that break these rules.
Acceptable use
- 🚫 No scraping, bulk automated requests, or circumventing usage limits.
- 🚫 No attempts to break into, overload or reverse engineer the service.
- 🚫 No use that is unlawful where you are, or that harms an animal or a person.
No warranty, limited liability
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, PawPawMood is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending things
You can stop using the site or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We may also change or discontinue features; if we discontinue Pro we refund the unused part of a paid period.
Changes and contact
